This is a study exploring the relationship between the Holy Bible and the Islamic Koran. For the most part, this study will concentrate on various books of the Bible as directly compared to the Koran, side-by-side, verse by verse, chapter–by-chapter, with the paradigm focus on identifying similarities. Thus, the material presented concerns itself with mapping-out the parallel material that occurs between the Holy Bible and the Koran.
As a baseline, Literal Interlinear renderings, for both texts, have been utilized in order to expose truth that is, more often than not, camouflaged and/or completely and utterly lost within the popular English translations – particularly with the Koran. Likewise, quality classic lexicography, concordances, and grammar sources are absolutely key to unlocking the truth between these texts, as they allow the reader to explore the true meanings and context of each individual word being translated, thus reducing, or eliminating much of the bias that has been poured into the popular translations.
The Biblical translation utilized in this study basically follows the “J.P. Green Literal Interlinear Hebrew/Greek/English Translation” (LITV).
The Koranic text utilized is primarily a corrected version of “The Koran, Complete Dictionary & Literal Translation”, by Mohamed Ahmed.
This study will undeniably reveal that the Koranic authors’ proclaim, in no uncertain terms, that the Holy Bible is a completely trustworthy source, and that the Koran was merely copied from it.
It will be discovered that the Book of Revelation has had an absolutely enormous and undeniable impact in the construction of the Koran, up to, and including, defining the content and structure of the vast majority of Suras as well as the sura namesakes.
It will also be discovered that the Koran confirms the Book of Revelation as complete truth and exemplifies this with Koranic eschatology that has been paraphrased directly from the Book of Revelation, culminating in the New Jerusalem. In addition, the Islamic concepts of Heaven & Hell originated directly from the Book of Revelation, and then have been embellished upon by Islam; construing much of the Biblical spiritual content into a highly sensual earthly context.
More importantly, we will learn that the Koran confirms important Biblical concepts such as The Trinity; that Jesus is the Son; that Jesus was crucified; that Jesus was resurrected; that Jesus Created the Universe; that Jesus is God Almighty; and that the Koranic “Muhammad” is actually the Biblical Jesus!
Just as profound is why the authors of the Koran deemed it necessary to cloak the pagan Arab god “allah” with the deity ascribed unto the Biblical Jesus Christ.
Careful study of all this evidence can only lead to the inevitable conclusion that the Koran is merely a paraphrased version of the Holy Bible, integrating Old Testament, New Testament, Gospel, and Apocalyptic material within its pages - the purpose, of which, still transmits a decidedly Christian message.
The Holy Bible, being the main source of the Islamic Koran, is not only required to correct and clarify the Koran in all manner of things, but it also plays a vitally important role in providing the details that are precariously absent in the Koran.
The Koran, for the most part, albeit being an abbreviated, convoluted, and paraphrased rendition of the Bible - is still an extra-biblical confirmation to the authority of the Holy Bible….
